seriously. why on earth does a system 5 jumps away need ishik ore crates delivered, when there is premium ishik ore right outside the station that anyone could mine in 10 seconds. and not only that, but there are several stations in that same system that sell ishik.

in some cases the group is testing your loyalty. They don't want to risk important cargo on a suspicious pilot. :)

I've have also wondered about the shipments of ores and 100kg datapads. I do think there is a sumggling ring in VO and ananzi you're the 1st player to openly acknowledge its existance.

Seriously I've debated making the tradegoods unique so they can't be purchased anywhere. However then you have to consider the consequences of various actions such as losing the cargo (you can buy replacement cargo in many cases), or selling the cargo to a rival corporation (do you gain faction standing for selling out to the competition?)
