Trade mission breakage

Fnugget I half like your idea and half don't like it. I like it because the more work I would do, the more reward and opportunity I would get, and the more risk involved. That's fun. But your idea would make it way too easy to get from 600 faction to 700 faction. SarahAnne said the game is designed to make it harder the higher you get; I like that design. Perhaps there is a compromise between these philosophies, but I'm not sure what it could be.

It gets harder due to the fact that the exp to next level is so much more. Maybe at higher levels they could have trade missions where some bot chases you. Some other formula maybe for the XP, but the short trip should be very little xp, and the more wormholes to destination, the more exponentially increasing XP.

I mean, you should get short missions at first. Maybe 1 to 3 system. Then as you get more license, they give longer missions, and maybe throw in a bus to try to kill you. And later, other trade ships, and then pirate ships.

Somehow nobody here has realized the main point I was trying to make. I don't know if the failing is mine, for not explaining it, or everyone else's, but I know the failing is there because nobody's reply actually addresses(or even mentions) the core issue here...

I'm tired of trying to explain what I mean, so I'm just going to drop it for now. Maybe later I'll reply, but for now this is just too troublesome.
