So I was escorting the Itani convoy when it was attacked by mr_spuck, a UIT. Note: I am Itani. So I went to attack spuck. Now somehow, mr_spuck had gotten positve Itani standing even though he is a know pirate of Itani convoys as you can see from the cargo captures section of the website. In defending the convoy, i destroyed him near an itani station and promptly lost a good 400 chunk of itani faction, preventing me from buying a valk or neut mkIII in the near future unless i go do some heavy duty botting to get my faction back up. So i guess it was either my faction or my convoy, and i chose to save the convoy. Now I'm not ranting or anything, I was just wondering if there was any way I could have some faction points restored due to the nature of the situation and the fact that it was actually the act of defending the Itani convoy that caused me to lose Itani faction. If not, i'll just have to buckle down and do some more botting.

We UIT are at an odd position indeed. Attacking us at any station constitutes standing loss for anyone. It's best to get us in grey/pirate space, but some of us are a bit more powerful than one might think.

Bawhaha ... My public relations strike again. You Itani are so easy to fool :P

On a related note. I got temp-Kos again for ghost getting caught in my explosion, although I didn't fire a single shot during the whole thing.
This is the second time this happened. And I'm suspecting the first time it was done deliberately to get me de-homed in a really bad moment.
(Not that I'm complaining about misusing game mechanics.. I did the same thing here :P)

EDIT: Oh and had I killed the transport my happy Itani time would have probably been over. :P

Didnt intentionally get caught in your explosion. Just trying to protect my convoy. I knew if I didnt kill you that you would just head after the convoy again since u are welcome in itani space. Nothing personal against you by the way spuck, I'm not complaining about your tactics or anything, I'm just bummed about losing my faction points by trying to protect my convoy.
