I have only experienced one sort of crashing on my FP imac and that is when the automatic screen dimmer, which kicks in after a few minutes, then it eventually completely darkens the screen. this is normal. when it happens during vendetta play, nothing will bring the screen back. usually the slightest mouse movement or keystroke will do it. so I have to restart. I am running os 10.2.8, and vendetta client 1.1.2. My video card is nvidia gforce2 32 mb.

hmm... I'm on a Quicksilver G4 running 10.3.5, and I let the screen turn off while in the station this morning. I didn't have any problems getting started again.

I'm on a desklamp G4 iMac running .2.8 as well... if I leave vendetta running for any reason and the screen deactivates it turns on when I move the mouse a bit, bypassing my password protection utility. Is that function set to on in your computer's settings?
