Pickup cargo doesn't update mass correctly
I just picked up 7 pieces of Purified Xith. ore. from the suddenly destroyed transport (See previous thread)
According to the mass display my ship now weighs 7800kg. This is a hog with 7x500 kg in it.
after a warp it weighs 10800 kg. (more correct)

Slightly on this topic, Scrap Metal that is dropped by bots is given as having a mass of 129 kg when charinfo'd... in station, it is listed as having a mass of 130 kg.. not much of a difference, but is there a reason for it?
Rounding. They're actually 1/1000th of that in the engine's calculations for various historical reasons. I'll fix the "cargo scanning" code to do the same rounding.
Don't know why mass isn't updating though... Maybe it has to do with multiple-quantity cargo boxes; can anybody verify? (Buy a full load of something, leave station with probably correct mass, jettison, pick it up again, lower mass than before?)

I found this last night.

Confirmed, Andy.
picking up multiple crates of Aquean Ore resulted in only the first recording mass. The subsequent crates didn't change the mass number on the HUD.
alienb: Where's the post?

Thanks, RelayeR. I anticipate a fix-it release tonight.
BTW, Andy...I tried it your way...leaving the station with a full load, jettisoning it and picking it up...I couldn't reproduce bad numbers.
Only after buying individual crates and jettisoning them...then picking them up one-at-a-time.

Oh, reeeeally. So what happens, exactly? The first crate counts and the subsequent ones don't?
Yep, spot on.
