radar graphics
My radar either doesn't show anything or shows blocks for targets. I tried to get an example of the second one but my radar stayed empty. Btw, I think the Station Guards should be moving. :P This is Nyrius K-14.

hmm.. hit CapsLock recently?
try /showall
(shift+W/S will hide some things.. .annoying with the CAPS key) but this doesn't explain the big square.

what graphics card, system specs? OS?
A little information would be helpful.
Go into options / video and check what settings you have there, post them here so that we can see what we are working with. (you should be able to get them out of the config file in your vendetta directory)

SHIFT r would clear up any accidental radar toggles. But this sounds like a Radeon 7500 issue.
If you have a Radeon 7200 or 7500 series card, you will have to edit the config.ini file. Find the config.ini file located in the folder where you installed Vendetta. Open it with any text editor, search for ps_hack and change it to ps_hack=1.
Failing that, within the game, go into Options and change the driver from DirectX to OpenGL. Worth a try.

It's a Radeon 7000. A combination of new drivers and ps_hack seems to have fixed it.
