I got a mission from Edras Command (NS1) to deliver some cargo to the Pelatus Bunker. I did the misson, carrying a little extra on the side. I sold the extra and noticed that they wanted me to continue the mission. I typed /mission 1 to accept it, and didn't get a message back. So I typed /mission 1 again, thinking I mistyped or something. It gave me the list of things one can ask/tell the mission computer - I can't finish the mission, what am I doing etc. When I asked what I was supposed to be doing, I got no response. Trying option 2 received the same response. I terminated the mission with option one "I lost the cargo." I then clicked on the missions tabs and saw that I still had an active mission. When I tried to get info for the mission, I got kicked off the server.

Hmph. I logged back in and now I'm outside the station, a couple km away. What just happened? Lag? Mission glitch?

Oh. Lag. I returned to the station and all is well. I'll leave this here as a lasting testament to actually researching a bug report before posting.

Nope, not lag, definitely a mission bug. If this ever happens to you -- i.e. you get mysteriously kicked off the server -- it's already sent us a bug report for the mission. Waylon and I are going to go over these today and hopefully fix the existing missions.

But since the mission goofed up well before kicking you off, it may take some effort to track down. Your report will definitely help.
