All my ships were blue yesterday. Now they're ALL pink. This is an OUTRAGE!!!

Yes, but previously one was allowed to change the color of their ships AFTER purchase. Now, the "color palette" is not available on the "select ship" page, and we CANNOT change back to our original colors.

Yes, I was. I changed the color of one of my ships three times before I settled on the one that I liked.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I took the ship out for a drive, decided I didn't like the color, went back to the station and changed it. My recollection is quite clear...

But is there a reason we can't change the color? I have a fleet of bland white ships simply because I keep forgetting to pick a color. Actually, shouldn't a player have a livery, a uniform color for all ships?

When you buy a car you try to pick the color ahead of time.
Anyways, yeah there will eventually be a default personalized color for your character so you don't have to worry about forgetting to pick a color.

and here I thought my ships' default color were red because that was my nation color...
