Poorly guarded borders
I just entered Metana from Geil, Itani hates me, -600, but the bots aren't attacking, not sure if it's a bug, but it doesn't seem right (:
Oh and the station in Geil O-5 doesn't sell any batteries, hehe if they had killed me in Metana, being homed there wouldn't be so hot ;D
you can always buy stock bus ;P
that's true, but as the first line of defense against itani incursion, a station that doesn't even sell batteries is a little weak (:
well at least your nation gets access to heavy and fast charge batteries I havent seen any fast charge or heavy battery being sold in any of our itani sectors...
not to mention that I haven't seen any small port rockets either. Or a vult...

But we get a two-gun centurion and 4 varieties of busguns (one of which is actually better than a phased blaster mk 2 of a normal tachy)!
rogua, yeah a bus is going to help us fight agaisnt a group of skycommand proms, 20k hull and plus minus the agility of a warthog ...
I just want to know what is attaiable and at what level and factionsstanding...
Since being in the blue is pretty annoying :(

Renegade, what combat levels are you? That may be the reason why.
AFAIK the bots are not broken. I just got my ass handed over to me by those stupid uber NPCDEFs when I made a wrong jump into Itani territory my Prometheus. By the time I could reach 3000m in my hvy/hvy combo I was dead. It was pathetic.
I really think the NPCDEFs need to be toned down in the new universe. There are hundreds of "guarded" sectors now and the need to have uber bots is unnecessary. Since players are less organized and farther apart, having NPCDEFs with human engines and weapons would still make them a threat because they'd still outnumber you. Tachyon Mk IIs and Vulture XTs could be their loadout instead of the insta-kill laser beam and infinite boost engines.

9/10/10/8 arolte...
I can get them everywhere else, even inside serco territory...
But as soon as I dock in the stations of the itani nation, then the max batery that is attainable is that damned medium one :(.
Junk :(
Well Arolte I was witness of the npcdefs not moving in... Considering I asked him to file a bugreport and post it. He even went to a collision course but the bots didnt move a muscle of their trajectory. He even calmly set himself down besides me at 1k from the closest npcdef. But nothing, riente, nada, zilch ...
cheers

Hmmm, the faction system could've changed a little. Maybe now you need to be a criminal to be attacked by NPCDEFs. I really can't test it out myself, since I'm either admired or I'm a criminal. Nothing in between, except for the Neutral Star factions.
or you could start firing... from what was in the news, I thought that's what got the bots to go after you.
