Well.. I can't see a mini model view in select ship winodw (nor a zoom of it). No graphic artefacts or wireframe there.. its just blank (i didn't find simmilar topic here, but maybe i'm just blind or sth...)

Can you buy it? Does the name and stats still appear as normal? I remember a long time ago there used to be a bus you could buy called "observer" or "spectator." Yet you couldn't buy it or anything. But anyway... that's a different story.
Yea.. everyghint is normal. I can buy it (the same goes to buy winndow), select next one and the game seems normal, only i can't see a view of a ship
Strange.
We don't really support the Omega drivers because they are not the official ATI drivers. Try using the Official ATI Catalyst drivers and see if that works.
Another possibility is that you are actually zoomed in. I don't recall if the ship select panel resets the camera zoom value. This may happen if you are zoomed in when you enter the station.

Hmm.. changing to catalyst (04.5) didn't help..
I'm alos sure that i don't have zoom on while entering station
I can put some screenshots in the web if you were instresting but don't think they would be helpfull
I haven't that problem on linux client, althougt i have opengl related problems atm (xfree 4.4 doesn't support radeons direct rendering i think) and must go under win...
