Yeah, well, I was in sector 3, right in the middle of a cap. And guess what happens? Sector restarts. So, I'm invunerable, defbots cant kill me, I cant die, I end up with about -445% or so. I took damage from running into things, other than that, I couldnt be damaged, or killed. This went on until I logged off, when I appeared in s3 with full health and ammo, right where I was when the sector died. Cool huh? I got it all on video too, quite funny.

Ya this is a known issue (see In Progress) resulting from a very sneaky bug. Be sure to use the Bug Report link when these things happen.

heh can you send us the video? sounds interesting.

Post for all, if you can...then we will know what to look for.

Were you doing a lot of PM'ing at the time? That's the only thing I can associate a sector crash or personal time-out with.

I don't have any record of any sector other than 11 restarting since the server last crashed (which was Sunday at about 5pm CST... not sure if it's fixed). Was this before then?

the videos say they were made 2004-03-06, What I call a "restart" was 1: the bots stopped working, but players could still move around, 2: everything dissapeared, and we couldnt hit each other, 3: stuff started coming back into the sector quickly, roids first, station second, and bots and WH last. Then it looked like everyone got kicked off but me. Do you really want a video of that? I don't mind uploading it overnight, but if you just want it for laughs, I'm not going to bother right off;P

Ohh ok. so it was the 6th that it happened. Yeah I don't need the video in that case. I thought it happened about when you opened this thread.
