i started the missing data cache recovery mission from valent robotics(psyche thing). i defeated the bot and was midway to deliver the datapad nyruius b10 to o 15. i logged out at b 10 aprox indian standard time 1 50 pm, account arar1456 char ararae. when i logged back in less than a minute later, the quest was showing interupted. when i checked my mission board in space as well as the station where i had accepted it, the mission had disappeared. using windows 11 intel i5 with intel R uhd graphics.

Oddly, this is not actually a bug. The author of this mission made the decision that a single failure would cause the player to "progress" to the next mission in the tree.

The mission does warn the player "Do not die or disappear." in the long description, which is intended to mean that you will Fail if you disconnect.

However, none of this is clear to the end user, so your confusion is understandable.

We're considering what to do about this, but it's not a simple issue, as it impacts more than just one mission, and really an ideal solution would engage with mission-UI changes as well.
