Different situation seen from different POVs
Today, we were trying to reproduce the reported problems and ran into a different one. The initial scenario involved Infinitis piloting a Trident with Capital Cannon turrets, and Floralia piloting a Warthog 2. We were testing in Dau A-1 and O-6. Both characters are UIT, and the tests were carried out in the UIT capital system, so no damage was done to Floralia. She always remained a few hundred meters from the Trident, with a speed of 0 m/s, and not touching the controls at all.
When I fired at Floralia from the turrets, the observed results were vastly different for both of us.
While Floralia, as well as other nearby pilots (thank you GonzoTheGoofy for the cross-check), saw absolutely nothing as a result (no ship movement at all), I saw her instantly going into an infinite spin. She also started drifting away, maintaining the initial vector and momentum. When I tried to fire consecutive shots, the auto-aim followed her false position and trajectory. After some time, she moved beyond 5000 m, and I lost her radar signature. Later, she drifted past 10k, so I completely lost any radar contact or information about her presence in the sector. In one test, she stayed out there for about an hour. Nothing changed for Infinitis during that time. She was gone for him all the time. However, as soon as Floralia touched the controls and tried to move, the ship always jumped back to the original (and real) position.
I tested this many times today, and it always worked this way without a single exception.
