I apologize for making another bugs thread so soon to my last one. I just noticed that I was able to log into my account and play VO without being subscribed to the game. Is there something wrong with my account? Are PC players on the freemium model now?

Yes. You have three subscription models now: freemium, lite and premium subscription.
Lite subscription increases the amount of crystals you can farm in a day. Also unlocks the mission where you can finalise building Goliath.
Premium subscription removes crystal requirement. Also unlocks the missions where you can finalise building Goliath and Trident.
