So this has been a problem for a while. The Trade report really gives you bad information. It got worse with the Latos economy roll out. Often the Daily trade report will say to buy items in Latos (Which is more expensive than anywhere else) and tell you to take it to another station where it is often sold at a loss.

This also happens with the random trade events where it says something about a shortage at one station due to whatever and that this place is selling it at a discount, but the profit is really bad or non-existent.

I don't know if this has been brought to your attention, but I doubt it is intended. I'd imagine this would be confusing to new players when they see that in news and then try the trade route only to see that it was a big waste of time.

Might be something you guys want to look at.

We'll take a look, but are you sure the given route opportunities weren't simply utilized by trading players?

The "report" represents a "moment-in-time", it can only state the best opportunities at that moment, but players may take advantage of those routes, and the dynamic nature of things will cause the opportunity to cease to exist.

This is not to say the system is ideal, or couldn't be improved, or made better for Newbies in some way, etc. But that would be more of Suggestions content, as opposed to a Bug.

But, if the route is actually in correct at the time of the report, then that would be a Bug.

Well, it is possible that players have utilized the trade routes , but highly improbable. Most of the trade routes listed daily and during those special circumstances list Latos as the place to purchase from. The prices in Latos are always higher than other stations you can buy the commodities from, which shows there is something wrong going on here.
