Defense flag capship bug report
I just did some testing to try to reproduce the bug that Dethtag reported.
I, on JakP, shot a uit alt (I Am JakP's Raging Bile Duct) in Dau L-10
[Thu Feb 16 01:55:29 2023] [Thu Feb 16 08:55:29 2023 UTC] You were attacked by JakP in Dau L-10. You are now free to defend yourself without factional repercussions for 15 minutes of the attacker's in-game time from the most recent hit of either party or until your attacker dies.
The UIT alt then left L-10
[Thu Feb 16 01:55:55 2023] You are entering Dau L-1
Mr. Ee then docked into my capship in Dau L-10, which transferred the defense flag to Mr. Ee.
[Thu Feb 16 01:56:45 2023] [Thu Feb 16 08:56:45 2023 UTC] Adding Mr. Ee to the list of who you can defend yourself against. You are now free to defend yourself without factional repercussions for 15 minutes of the attacker's in-game time from the most recent hit of either party or until your attacker dies.
After 15 minutes, the defense flag clears for both offenders.
Thu Feb 16 02:10:29 2023] [Thu Feb 16 09:10:29 2023 UTC] 15 minutes of in-game time have elapsed since you tried defending yourself or were attacked by JakP. You can no longer attack without factional repercussions.
[Thu Feb 16 02:11:45 2023] [Thu Feb 16 09:11:45 2023 UTC] 15 minutes of in-game time have elapsed since you tried defending yourself or were attacked by Mr. Ee. You can no longer attack without factional repercussions.
Mr. Ee then docks into my capship again, causing the flag to be reinstated, even though It had cleared for both JakP and Mr. Ee.
[Thu Feb 16 02:13:08 2023] [Thu Feb 16 09:13:08 2023 UTC] Adding Mr. Ee to the list of who you can defend yourself against. You are now free to defend yourself without factional repercussions for 15 minutes of the attacker's in-game time from the most recent hit of either party or until your attacker dies.
15 minutes after that, the defense flag clears:
[Thu Feb 16 02:28:08 2023] [Thu Feb 16 09:28:08 2023 UTC] 15 minutes of in-game time have elapsed since you tried defending yourself or were attacked by Mr. Ee. You can no longer attack without factional repercussions.
Mr. Ee proceeds to dock with my capship again and the defense flag is reinstated.
[Thu Feb 16 02:30:24 2023] [Thu Feb 16 09:30:23 2023 UTC] Adding Mr. Ee to the list of who you can defend yourself against. You are now free to defend yourself without factional repercussions for 15 minutes of the attacker's in-game time from the most recent hit of either party or until your attacker dies.
My alt then destroyed Mr. Ee, to clear the defense flag:
[Thu Feb 16 02:32:34 2023] [Thu Feb 16 09:32:34 2023 UTC] You have successfully defended yourself from Mr. Ee.
[Thu Feb 16 02:32:34 2023] I Am JakP's Raging Bile Duct destroyed Mr. Ee
Mr. Ee then docked in my capship once more, and the flag is reinstated.
[Thu Feb 16 02:35:42 2023] [Thu Feb 16 09:35:42 2023 UTC] Adding Mr. Ee to the list of who you can defend yourself against. You are now free to defend yourself without factional repercussions for 15 minutes of the attacker's in-game time from the most recent hit of either party or until your attacker dies.
This only stopped after JakP undocked from the dent and then took control again.
This was the extent of my testing. The defense flag is clearly somehow being applied incorrectly after it clears.
