audio bug with goliaths
in the rear turret of a goli if you look to the left audio cuts out and breaks.
Uhh. I'm going to request that someone else please independently reproduce that.
Pc and mobile work just fine for me tried with different weapons too
With my headphones on when i looked to the left the audio breaks and cuts out. Idk
for future reference, Iron Lord is using the XAudio2 driver on PC, using a USB headset. He runs windows 11.
I use the vista audio driver myself because I remember there being these wierd cutout issues with the others - the wav driver was always choppy, while the XAudio2 would only chop in certain circumstances. I figured it was caused by my rather complex audio setup; the game runs through an application called VoiceMeeter which handles multiple inputs and outputs so I can isolate audio for streaming or run playback of sounds and mix them with my mic and send the composite up to discord or wherever. I haven't set it up the best of ways, and there are other older things involved that could also be causing issues, so I never reported it as an issue before.
I'll play around with all the options and post my personal results here afterwards.

So, I couldn't *exactly* replicate the issue. for me, I got very quiet choppiness just from rotating the camera in ANY turret on my goliath, but I had to turn up the volume to 120% standard in order to notice at all (XAudio2 AND Vista). So, maybe something is there and you just hear it due to some trait of your personal system?
For me, the more noticable change going from the vista driver to XAudio2 was that turboing had a very high-pitched ringing that i'd not heard before. Actually, things sounded clearer, but that ringing alone was bothering me, so I went back.
That being said, if anyone were to use the Windows Sound WAV driver, i'd be curious to know if my issue there was replicated - all sounds were choppy and also echoing. This is a recording of that particular problem.

Only when flying a goli on any android device the speakers make a crackling soung quite quiet almost like audio is being clipped, its not the speakers its smthing todo with the goli
