The character ’ on discord is relayed in game as € (i.e. the crystal icon).

On the other hand, the character € in game results in the entire message not getting relayed to discord.

Meanwhile the character € on discord gets filtered when relaying to the game but the rest of the message goes through. Probably intentional but personally I'd prefer filtered content to be marked by replacement characters so readers can know that something was lost.
