Betheshee potential make and/or botlist issues
Betheshee system has a number of sectors (12) with regular hive groups in them but no asteroids anywhere in visible range.
Then there are other sectors with hidden asteroid/ice fields and hive bots but the collectors do not actually mine, they just fly around. Mostly their group compositions are regular but in one case it's just a lone transport in there.
I can provide a list of affected sectors and bots in them if needed but I doubt that is necessary.
It's not a problem for game play and may all be working as intended, but I am pointing it out because something may have gone wrong in setting this up, since it is rather atypical.
Unrelated: The system doesn't appear to have any Pentric when it was my understanding that it can, although that might just be an RNG issue.

I always thought this not a bug, and just an interesting aspect of certain areas of the galaxy. Especially because much of that area, lore wise, was front line areas in a war..

It's best to stick to one-bug-thread-per-topic, but, I'm not sure what the above means. Like, where was your "understanding" derived from? There is nothing RNG-related in the mineral/ore makeup of asteroids, from a prospecting / scanning standpoint, those are currently static.
There is RNG-related "luck" within the actual mining process. But mining an asteroid with a low-percentage of "mineral X" and then not receiving any "mineral X" is not a meaningful indicator of anything being broken, just you being unlucky.

Then to pile on yet another issue: You are aware that several capitol systems do reset their asteroid makeup regularly, right?
The RNG I meant before was the one that goes into creating the composition when the sector gets (re)created, as it happens regularly in those systems. I am aware that after that the composition remains static.

I'm not quite sure what you're seeing, but it's best to stick to reporting the specific facts of what you see, and letting us look into it. There are no sectors that "reset", or are capable of "resetting" asteroid makeup. But, there might be something else amiss.

Oh, ok, I thought this was intentional so I never thought to report it. I made a separate thread: https://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/2/38119#426986
