Chat colors cannot be set from the presets
Options > Advanced > Interface > Chat Color Settings
Clicking on one of the preset colors will correctly change the Sample text, but you cannot save it to the actual chat color. For that you need to at least click into the RGB numbers above once or toggle the sliders for the code to recognize the color as having been changed.

Confirmed on PC and Android phone. Presets change neither the color in the setting interface upon applying, nor the GUI.
