Station guards in Latos i8 have been missing for a few hours.

They'll sometimes chase players out of range (for example, if they are chasing a capital ship). Once the sector resets(all players leave the sector for about 2 minutes) they are back near the station.

I.e. some people have figured out that they can deep space their capship and draw out the guards indefinitely.
