What kind of device is it? Like what brand / OEM / model?

Have you tried a clean re-install of the game?

Have you tested the touchscreen of the device, using one of the testing apps available on the Play Store? The most common area of failure on touch-digitizers is the corners, those tend to go "first". And, obviously, that's also where the Turbo button is usually located.

If you use DB, you could also try moving your Turbo button somewhere else.

"What kind of device is it? Like what brand / OEM / model?"

Redmi 9 power mobile phone.

"If you use DB, you could also try moving your Turbo button somewhere else."

I tested with and without plugins - still 1 second late response.

"Have you tried a clean re-install of the game?"

I'll try that again -

"Have you tested the touchscreen of the device, using one of the testing apps available on the Play Store? The most common area of failure on touch-digitizers is the corners, those tend to go "first". And, obviously, that's also where the Turbo button is usually located."

Need to test this too ^

I suggested moving the Turbo button in DB, to test your phone's touchscreen. The ask was not to "test without plugins".

I would guess this is an issue with your device, and not the game. But you'd need to use an external touch-screen-testing app to verify.

You can try using your thumbs to push firmly around the outside of the device:
1) starting with both thumbs together at the top of the device screen
2) then separating them into opposite directions and moving them around the outside of the touchscreen, each thumb opposite from the other..
3) until they meet again at the bottom.

However, understand that flexing the touchscreen could crack the glass, if you push too hard. Attempt at your own risk.

The "touch digitizer" makes its connections to the phone around the outside edge, so if a given edge has "separated upward" a little, it can sometimes be improved by pushing it back down again.

You press both thumbs (sides) at the same time, to try and reduce the overall flex on the device glass, so you're pushing down on the whole screen in an area, and not just one corner.
