Where to dock at a spacestation?
Please see linked images, and tell me how/where to dock...

Wow, you've got some serious video driver issues. What operating system/video card?
Silly question .. Debian/GNU linux naturally... The GFX-card is a stock Matrox G550, XFree is 4.3.99 (pre 4.4) from the DRI-trunk (Sept. 10th 2003), with the DRI-driver being dated "20030328". Kernel is stock 2.6.1 with preemt and all :)
The problem is, that you or I have problems with do_compiled_vertex_array (That would be GL_EXT_compiled_vertex_array) - The driver/card should be able to do vertex-arrays, but even though the driver (from glxinfo) claims to support compiled vertex-arrays, I sorta have my doubts. The Savage Demo (some other game..) uses them, yet seems to gain no speed increase from it :(
Short story long, I turned off the do_compiled_yadayada, and it works - I can now have those rotating parts on spacestations in my view without the gfx stalling and getting disrupted (0.1 frames per sec is no good in a dog-fight!)
Need any info? write again :)

ps: Incidently, this issue referes to a bug-report I posted a couple of days ago...

Heh, silly question indeed. I was thinking to myself "you must be using Linux with something other than the latest-generation nvidia/ATI cards, which nobody cares enough to fix the drivers for." That's why we need all those config.ini hacks to turn various features off. Glad you got it sorted out.
I take it you were able to find the actual docking bays now?

Actually I found the departure/release bay first .. Oups :)
But yeah - I did find it eventually :)
