I believe this is the mission to construct the self-propelled concussion mine? The ferric ore needs to be fresh (but you can mine it in the station sector). There *might* be another ore that must be fresh as well, but its been a while since i've tried making that (overweight) launcher...

I've finished it recently - you need to mine ferric, xith, silicate, and lanthanic I think. The other things can be bought at nearby stations.

I'm think xirite alloy can't be mined, it's not accepted too
