Glow Effect Misaligned since new client patch
Mac OSX Catalina 10.15.7
Full Scene Glow Effect set to "On" (issue not present when set to "High Quality")
The full scene glow effect seems to be misaligned. Looking at the screenshots now I'd say it's actually vertically inverted or something? Not quite sure. Only happens when set to "On", it's normal on "High Quality"

Which video driver is VO using?
OpenGL Reference GKGL Driver
I tried to change to Vulkan (Metal) GKGL Driver after the patch but it just goes to a blank grey screen, and when I restart it resets to OpenGL Reference GKGL Driver.
Perhaps relatedly perhaps not, VO seems to be using significantly more CPU since the update, any pointers on how to reduce that?

Try turning on VSync if it is off. That would only affect fullscreen mode though.
Can you post or send us the vulkaninfo.log file that was created when you tried the Vulkan driver?
What type of mac do you have?

Are you using an external monitor or something? The resolution being reported is huge.
No, just the built in 16" monitor. I did notice that my screen resolution was temporarily set to something huge after I force quit the game, then it reset itself.
Yeah, it set your desktop res to 1440x900.
Can you edit your config.ini file to add these lines (or if they already exist, set windowmode to 1)
[vulkan]
windowmode=1
And switch to the vulkan driver again. I would like to know if that works.

We released a patch that fixes the problem with the Vulkan driver. Still working on the GL rendering issues.
A patch to fix the GL glow and ice effects has been released.
