After getting the defenses down, parking my Trident in Latos I-8, and capturing the station, the fresh turrets and station guards immediately started shooting at my Trident. They only stopped once I docked and took control. I believe this applies to all the conquerable stations at the moment.

This happened to me in Pelatus C-12, unfortunately I didn't have time to dock with my trident before it exploded.
