Linux Installer Troubles
I downloaded the vendetta-linux-installer.sh, went into konsole and installed it based on the directions, and when I returned to a regular user and typed vendetta through alt-f2, nothing happened. If I tried typing this in konsole, I got Bus error. Any suggestions? My current graphics card is an ATI Radeon 9600XT
so get off the short bus...I mean..uh...yeah...
what the hell?
Just install it, then run 'vendetta' from wherever you installed 'vendetta'
(put it in /opt or something)
If you want to type 'vendetta' and make it run wherever you are, make a nice 'link' (goto directory where 'vendetta' binary is, then: ln -s vendetta /usr/bin/vendetta).. when you're root ofcourse.

You will probably find its trying to launch a gtk updater, So best to execute it from an xterm.
If you get a bus error right away, then your GTK library, or some other library, is incompatible with the vendetta updater. What distribution are you using?
