Sticky controls on Oculus Go
OK, I'm not entirely convinced this is a VO bug but I strongly suspect so.
Since the last update of VO my controller has become sticky and/or unresponsive - it's like the events are being dropped. So strafing gets stuck and spins me round until I repeatedly try the opposite direction a few times. Also some of the buttons fail to register the first time e.g. fire, 'A' or 'B' used continuously to toggle F/A or activate button.
My setup is Oculus Go with Microsoft XBox 1 controller connected via bluetooth.
I naturally assumed that my controller was at fault so I played Ultrawings which has very similar controls and there was no issue at all which makes me think that it's the latest release of VO which has introduced the issue.

I'm more and more convinced that this is a VO problem because, again playing Ultrawings is perfectly fine - I'd forgotten how good that game is as a simulator :)
Also this could just be my paranoia but it seems the more activity there is, the worse it gets. For instance just motoring from one wormhole to the next and there's no issue. Whereas you engage some bots or starting pewing with somebody and then it starts sticking. I also might be wrong but it might be worse the longer you are in a sector or the further you travel from the entry point.
Is it possible to revert to a previous version of VO to try and prove that it is the later version, or maybe other Go / bluetooth controller players could confirm or disprove the same experience ?

That's really interesting. I had been using the same setup for a year or more and it was rock solid so no issues. It's started doing it in the last few weeks. I have a 'wired' controller with a USB dongle so I'll try that and see if it's specifically bluetooth that is the issue. I used to use this before I got the XBox controller so it should work.
I doubt it's a connectivity problem because I've put new batteries in it - that was the first thing I thought of. Also I haven't noticed the illuminated X flashing which it does if it's not connected.

I use the Go with a Xbox bluetooth controller, and I'm not experiencing any issues. Maybe local interference?
I don't buy the local interference because the same controller works fine with Ultrawings. It's something peculiar to VO and it's only just started happening in the last couple of weeks. I lost a pew to a newb in bus last time I played because it was so erratic !
Maybe it's plug-in related but then plugins don't allow you to access flight controls anyway so seems unlikely but worth disabling I guess.

I think you could be on to something, I played last night with no issues and the difference was my watch was charging in another room ! More experimentation needed but I've only had it a few weeks which ties in with the experience.
