I’ve tried multiple times to complete this mission.... and still haven’t yet.

The most recent time, a collector wouldn’t spawn.

After pressing the button in my PDA to “Spawn Collector”, the name would populate in the chat, but not actually ship. The station guards don’t react. Thirty sec later, I’m given an option to spawn another... no ship.

I tried docking, but that didn’t change anything. I tried close the app (mobile user), but that failed the mission.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the report. It looks like Collectors are being spawned, they may be too far away for you to see, though.
