HD beams on my client have been looking a lot like the Death Star laser recently. Fun, if not intended.

It is not just your client. I have heard reports of this from 3 independent players. Occurs when using a trident to mine.

Probably due to the same thing that happens when you kill an AFK miner in a station sector they are homed at. I've seen some beams stretch 10k+ if they are away a long time. Probably something to do with you technically being in a station while mining, when you are in control of the cappy it's fine, but as soon as you switch to being docked the beams go funny (as you are no longer actually there).
