Black screen, VR, after jumping
April 17th update, 1.8.481-482
Beginning the first time I logged in after the April 17th update, and on both my VR Android devices, I get a black screen as soon as I make my first jump. I can only see the HUD info upon the end of the jump.
*If I am in my cap ship when I have this black screen, and I go into a turret, the black space clears to the normal blue. At this point I can do anything that is normal to the game again. (…until after my next jump, then black screen again). If I am in a non-cap ship, all I can do is log out/in.
I use “Gear VR” headgear by Oculus, for my Vendetta Online play. My android phones are S7 and Edge S7 by Samsung. The S7 is exclusive to VO in VR.

What OS version are you running on your devices? We did test this on GearVR, but we'll check it out.
On both the S7-edge and the S7, I see “Android version” 8.0.0 , and Samsung Experience version 9.0
(The above was found by going to Setting--> about phone --> software information.)
I am not the most “tech capable” guy in the room, but I have some skills. If this is not the information you are asking for, please instruct me on what and where the information you need is found.
(Fyi: I occasionally use PC in VO, and my PC has no problems with this black screen.)

We are able to replicate the problem with a Trident, but not with a non-cap ship. We're working on a fix and will release it as soon as it is ready.

We released an update that should fix the problem. Please check it out and let us know if it fixes the problem for you.

Your update has restored gameplay to its normal parameters; there are no longer “black screen issues” after jumping while playing in VR.
I tested the patch in Virtual Reality, with both my android devises.
I was able to jump in a Dent or Goli, leave it and jump in a XC, then return to the capship, return capship(s) to station, with either device.
Also tested: Atlas, Greyhound, Centaur and Ragnarok.
You guys rock \o/
