splitting swarm groups between multiple targets?
If you cycle through targets while a volley of swarms is launching they will split and head after every ship targeted during the launch sequence. This could easily cause some accidental friendly-fire issues.
I'm guessing this might be an unintentional byproduct of the "capship missile-lock update"?
..okay, maybe that's a bad guess, and maybe this was always possible, but i've never had a group of swarms split as i selected a next target until now-- they've always seemed to commit the entire group of eight missiles to the original target... now, if i am quick, i can get one pull of the trigger to fly off in three different directions. if this is a bug, then i'll try not to enjoy it too much before it's patched, but it's making hive skirms quite fun ;-;

erm, its been like this for several years. just dont spam target-next when firing swarms or whatever. or, if you wanna be weird, use something akin to target-next-enemy to fire missiles at multiple opponents at once [dont ask me why you'd wanna].
well... i _do_ always want to be weird...but that has nothing to do with this ;) ...and there are instances were this is quite handy.
