Turrets Not Working
Turrets in most places are currently not reliable at all. To be clear, i mean the turrets in space - race/station defenses and such, not player controllable turrets.
We were just defending a station, and no weapons fire from the turrets against the enemies.
Also, recently i was destroyed in a nyrius wormhole i think, i was surrounded by turrets but not a shot from them, nor race responses.
This is becoming a consistent problem, I attacked bractus m14 - no notifications sent, and no attacks... then half way through it kinda kickstarted and turrets started attacking.

I came to latos i-8 today with no key and didn't get fired on
I just entered Latos I-8 and was correctly fired upon.
Next time it happens, please note the time (or say something specific in chat) so we can correlate the time in the logs to help us find what's wrong.

It happened during a station fight. Note that it was about 4-6 varying defenders and 2-4 varying attackers, and it happened during a time that attackers were not attacking stations, only attacking players in the station sector, and the turrets derped out randomly.
Well im fairly sure that when it happened, the entire turret system temporarily went on the blink - wash was using that knowledge to attack in uit space. Frankly, im not mentioning it because of anything other than to illustrate it was that wide a problem that they had decided to use it as a tactic.
Umm there were no UIT Hate ships when your dent was killed, therefore no reason for the Turrets to fire. They only attack Standing -600 and lower.
I actually submitted a ticket giving date and time during one of these episodes- I submitted it right after the fight Voidance mentioned above. During the fight I witnessed the two station guards go roughly 5 km from the station and then begin literally flying circles and loop de loops. I tried flying toward them and disrupting them and they just looped around me. This was all while there were non keyed ships in sector. It was very strange looking.
OH! Oh oh oh! This has happened with a lone strikeforce bot before! Its been a really long time ago, but I did record it! Not a clue if this is even related, but ehhhhh?
Surely the turrets should respond to an unprovoked attack in their space? The reps shouldnt matter - apart from anything else the simple logic of having a uit player with standing 15 points shy of pos should not be able to be attacked when surrounded by that players home nation turrets without the turrets responding, especially not when the attackers are NOT uit.
Simply put, thats like me walking into another country and shooting locals of clearly different culture, and expecting no response from the other people there, jusst cos i was friends with their leader.
So, where is the logic? Whats the point of turrets if they dont respond to the fact its a monitored sector?
