Every once in a while while shooting something, my target gets completely reassigned to another target even though I pressed no keys to change targets

This is definitely something I would want to be reproduced without plugins before going further.

There are just too many plugins doing crazy stuff with targeting..

Also, it is a failure mode of controllers to occasionally have some kind of phantom input? I've seen that before as well..
