VendettaMarks produces a Windows warning that says app is harmful to the computer

Not sure to install it or not. I'm holding off ATM so I can inspect it a little more.

Please advise

Maybe because its a program you downloaded from the internet? pretty sure windows says app ***MAY*** be harmful, because it was downloaded from an unknown location. If your truly concerned that GS is trying to lock away your programs or anything, then point your virus scanner at it.

VendettaMark is a benchmarking utility aimed at stressing your PC/Device, and scoring it based on how it does. Unless you downloaded it from somewhere other than www.vendettamark.com (Specifically with the www, since there seems to be something weird going on there without it last I checked), then you should be fine.

Moved to Bugs, though it probably isn't.

We're going to upgrade our binary code-signing sometime soon, which may help. But, fundamentally, Windows 10 is pretty negative about apps downloaded from the internet that aren't "familiar" to it.

So, basically, if you get like.. League of Legends or something that gets millions of downloads, Microsoft learns those are "trusted" and Windows won't complain. However, if you download something that's quite new, or only gets dozens of downloads, it raises all kinds of negatives about how dangerous the file might be.

This became an even stronger issue in recent Windows 10 updates.

Anyway, if you downloaded the app from us (a direct link from our site), it should be fine.

If you got it from somewhere else, then.. we can't promise anything.
