Crash on Startup in Windows 10 with 1.8.426
We've had a couple of reports of crashes on game startup (after the "NAOS Engine" logo) from people with higher-end gaming desktops on Windows 10, with this latest version ("debris" release).
This is a thread to aggregate any additional reports.
So far it may (?) be people with NVIDIA cards and Windows version 1703? One reporter has a GTX960.
I have a GTX980, and no crash on Windows 1607 with NVIDIA 382.33 drivers. I'm currently updating to see if an update causes this to happen.
Any additional correlations, reports or hardware info is appreciated.

I had this problem after changing plugins, however a computer restart fixed it.
You had this problem today, after this update specifically?
One user reports that they resolved the crash by changing their default audio device from their onboard Realtek High Definition Audio to a USB Logitech G633.
So basically, if you have a Realtek Audio chip onboard (most boards do), and are crashing on startup, try changing to a different audio device if you have one? (like a USB headset)

Ok, update. I just had the bug, I didn't have a different audio device to switch to, however I was able to log on by disabling my realtech palyback device, as well as my realtech recording device. It did not work until both the recording and playback devices were disabled.
We just released a patch that should fix the problem. Do you have a joystick plugged in?
I do yes, I play with a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
