I already filed a bug report.
Once in a group, you cannot see your health, money, score, or bounty.
There is an [NPC] Algeka in sector 11. Once you target him, his name is "Cruiser." He is an Itani Centurion. (Same bot reported in 8 as a bus.) Is this the new inter-sectoral bot?

Oh yeah, when someone of your group goes out of a sector, their health remains at what it was when they left.
A bot with a 671 million bounty in 11, but when you kill him, the bounty is only 250.
Supposedly there is an invisible bot somewhere too.
normal players appear in some sectors as bots, of the same color as the player.
Defense Ship 13 was a bot in sector 4 today. He had 150 bounty and 0 score. When I killed him, my screen showed "Roguelazer destroyed Defense Ship 13", but other people's screens showed "Roguelazer destroyed [NPC]Blah" (I forgot the NPC's name). Funnily enough, I was a bot in sector 12. Heh.
When you join a group, you can see your health as a colored bar under your name.
Not being able to see your score/bounty/money isn't a bug. It's just poor HUD design. If someone can come up with a good way to show all that stuff without making it look cluttered, by all means do so and submit it.
I am going to make a toggle to switch between group and single HUD mode though and that may be enough.
And I already know about and fixed the bug that keeps the health of someone who left the sector or when you leave the sector. If someone dies it still shows their last health until they either leave the sector or logout or start flying a new ship. Same goes for when a group member docks to a station. It shows their last health until they either undock or whatever's listed above.

Ray, I have an idea for a better HUD that I cooked up in photoshop. If you'd like to see it, I can email it to you, as I have no way to post it online as of now.
Effectively, it relocates most functions to the bottom of the screen, leaving only chat and status (money, score, bounty) at the top. The Map and group displays are relocated to pop-up tabs, as they are not necessary at all times.
(I could make it lower profile, but doing so would require shrinking the radars)

My suggestions would be to firstly make all backgrounds transparent. That includes the background of the center tab especially. Secondly, I'd reccommend that you put all the labels in the "You" box (upper-right corner) on the left. It should be like this (ASCII ART)

A very nice HUD, RogueLazer. I don't like the new meters, tho, but the rest looks great.. with some minor tweaking. Perhaps it could even be user-customisable! YaY!
It's not mine, it's SoundGuy66's. If anyone says it's mine, I'll eat them.
agreed, I wasn't sure what to do with those meters, but I think it would be nice to have hull up there, so it can be seen quickly while engaged in combat. If you have any ideas fo a stylish way to do it, I'd love to hear them.
