Even when they are not KOS/hate anywhere. In one instance, just having the pilot shoot another player in a non station sector was enough to eject the turret gunner.

If you could post some specific characters and times when this happened, so we could check our logs and figure out what happened, that would make this much easier to try and track down.

There was one case where a player was ejected after killing someone with their fighter, then docking to a capship shortly afterwards, then the victim said 'no' to the faction forgiveness menu, which caused the attacker to get tempKOS for pvp, which kicked him out.

That could have been seen as arbitrary, I suppose, but it is totally explainable.
