Convoy path predictable in Ion Storms.
I killed me many a convoy using a trick and lmines. With the changes to mine limits it may become less of a bug if it's even considered a bug. I made tons of credits this way and I don't want to give it up but I will if the devs inquire. I can predict the route of npcs transiting most ion storms with too much certainty if I'm aware of the sector they come from. If I were to lay a line of lmines every mine between the npcs entry and the storm exit point would activate.
Jump-in locations are always sort of predictible depending on where you jump from. I think that's intentional.
If it's not, and they "fix" this, it'll make mine fields irrelevant against trade traffic.

Jump in is determined by where you jump from and so they are very predictable.
It is not a bug so please don't feel like your cheating. Setting convoys up to be slaughtered is a long standing tradition in VO. I have even been known to launch a convoy to act as a decoy for rats.
Enjoy the fun.

This is how i kill most people in storms.
I also like to launch all the serco bound convoys and cancel them to deprive serco pilots of income
