Just checking; you have updated the client? Also, if tts/stt is reliant on the google apps, you may wish to update those as well. If they have been updated, well, /me shrugs
Check you have Google set as the STT service. Samsung phones come with Samsung voice, which could be interfering with Google. Also make sure you have the Google+ app installed and up to date.
OK updated my Google Apps, got "OK google" to work, but still no tts. Also doesn't work on my regular keyboard. Have Google set as my default voice engine.
Do you have a different default keyboard? (Other than the Samsung one or Googles ASOP)
Nope. Freshly reset note 5.
Vo updated automatically and when I go to audio to turn off mission text to speech it wont let me disable it.

I was able to fix this by reinstalling VO, but if your regular voice to text isn't working then I would say it isn't an issue with VO.
We're interested to hear how people get this working. We honestly have no idea why it doesn't work for some people, and does for others.
It works on all of our Android devices, including our Note 5 from the UAE (early release sent to us by ARM).
This makes it challenging for us to debug what's going on. Based on reading online, there's a pretty strong chance this actually has nothing to do with the game, and is some kind of OS/OEM related problem (locale, online/offline recognition data, version, etc). For instance, we're not sure why re-installing the game would change characteristics of using the voice recognition API.
So, please keep us posted, we've been actively testing a lot of configurations to come up with an answer for people.. but we don't have one as of yet.

Well I've gotten it to work as well by reinstalling the game. Not really sure why it worked. It's working on my regular keyboard as well now.
