I can no longer target mines
Don't know if this is a bug or a fix, but i can no longer target mines using Arf's plugin.
Well, its not just mines. building parts, docks, exit bays, etc all cant anymore :( help us ARF!
targeting exit bay/dock is very helpful
@devs: did you change it on purpose so we cant do that anymore or is it an accident?

Not a lot I can do about it if the devs blocked targeting on those objects.
Honestly I think this is kind of stupid. If you get close enough to a mine, you should be able to get a target lock on the darn thing, but that's a suggestions post.

awww screw this. i can understand blocking of mines but why docking/exit bays, building parts etc? theres no real reason to forbid it, even for mines. at least just disable it for mines and nothing else -.- this is stupid.
It's not about "forbidding" anything. We have different internal object category types, which include "selectable" and "un-selectable". We updated some code-paths that apparently impacted this plugin.
Keep in mind, this was something you were only using via an unsupported third-party plugin. It was not an official feature of the game in any way.
If you want docking bay objects to be selectable, that's fine, go ahead and make a Suggestions post about it. They were never selectable before, and the only reason why ARF's plugin ever worked was due to an oversight. Basically, a bug.
