Bug in lunching ship from docking port.
I am using a note 5 and gear vr with SteelSeries XL controler. When ever i lunch my ship form docking port it starts spinning to the right with out any comands. This is highly anoying and the only way i found to fix this bug is to turn my controler from being on to off then back on again. This gets very cumbersome for obvious reasons having the hmd against our face you cant see the on/off switch on the back of the controler so you have to take the headset of then back on. Then repeat every time you launch this get massively anoying when you have tue training missions to do befor you get to the real game. I hope to see this fix soon. Cheers
Thanks for the report. I understand how that is very annoying. We have a SteelSeries Stratus XL and will look into it.
Is it spinning to the right as though you're turning with the analog stick or spinning like you're rolling with the analog trigger?

It is barrel roll right. Im refering to thank you for being there for the players :). Its the right trigger bottom i believe im not sure why it thinks im im doing that command but im not i have to hold down both triggers to stop it but once i release t start al over again .
Can you go into Options -> Advanced -> Controls, then choose the 'Joysticks' tab and see how the analog trigger controls are working? When they are not pressed, the slider should be centered for both of them and when they are pressed, the slider only moves half-way for those two axes.
Also, please send us the errors.log file after you attempt to use the gamepad, it will have info about the gamepad's axes.
The file is located at:
/sdcard/Android/data/com.guildsoftware.vendettagearvr/files/errors.log
Send it to support@guildsoftware.com if possible.
And please create a support ticket so we can have direct email conversations.
Thanks.

No problem, I'll try to explain it better.
There's a Support link at the bottom of the left-hand side of the page that will allow you to create support tickets. This Bugs forum isn't a ticket.
So, what you can do is to plug your phone into a PC and browse to the Android/data/com.guildsoftware.vendettagearvr/files folder. There is a text file called errors.log that you can send directly to us via email or copy the contents of the file into a support ticket form.
If you are using a file browser directly on your Note 5, it should be in the same place. Browse to that location and email us the errors.log file.
Also, can you send the config.ini file that's also located in the same place?
When I referred to "/sdcard/Android/...", that didn't mean an external sdcard, sorry. Blame Google for that one, the /sdcard/ is actually the internal storage of the phone, which used to actually by an sdcard way back in Android 1 and 2, so it's now a backwards compatibility name.
Thanks.

We just released patch 1.8.395 that should fix the problem, please let us know if it continues to happen and to send us your config.ini and errors.log files.
We released another patch 1.8.395.2 a few minutes ago that should fix this problem. The patch released yesterday did not fix it.
