Ok, I just tapped an asteroid. I mean tap, like 5m/s I died. That ship was a maud at full hull

What's with the massive amount of damage that is dealt to ships then they hit something? and why does a collision throw you WAY off course? I mean for mouse users, it really sucks, and isnt very realistic...
