I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick and for the past month or so the game randomly resets the throttle on undock regardless of the throttle position on the joystick. This does not happen all the time but it happens often enough to be annoying and unpredictable. It also sometimes happens when I'm chatting while flying and bump the controls, or when looking at my PDA.

Same thing happens to me also. I tested this with Linux 15.10 and Windows 10 and it only happens under Windows 10. Same joystick.

I don't think throttle controls have ever worked well. I remember the same behavior when I first got my joystick years ago. However, since the throttle control only works with F/A on, and I rarely fly that way, it didn't really bother me.

My throttle control works fine with the same stick on Linux.

The Extreme 3D Pro has a bit of a hardware deadzone at the 50% mark. On Linux & Mac, you can use the game's calibration screen to work around that sort of sloppiness.
