Blitz, I think that's not the same reason. When you BuyBack the free ship but you have non-free addons, it just disconnects the replaced items and doesn't sell them.

Rogue, that's odd. Maybe the BuyBack list is not getting cleared out when you buy the items under certain circumstances.

I have no idea, but it reoccured a couple of times today. It might be lag related.

I don't remember using rocketbusses or whatever, so the gov issued plasma shouldn't have been unloaded.
I also have tons of tons of random weapons in stations. Mainly flares (I don't think I bought 1000 flares...)

Grrr. Further testing showed that the flares at s14 (about 150 of them) are not usable. Can't even load them. Dunno why.

OK, we looked at your characters and didn't notice anything wrong. I got rid of your ton of gov-plasma weapons, but didn't see a ton of Sunflare rockets that were unused.

I found a new buyback problem. In the giant s13 war today, my "Equipment" list kept getting longer and longer for my buyback. Eventually I realized why. Every item was being bought back twice!!! I now have about 40 gauss cannons in sector 13, along with umpteen engines, batteries, flechette guns and sunflares. It's crazy. I have no idea what caused it, because it doesn't always happen. It's just... strange. So everybody check your inventories and see if you have tons of extra stuff too.

I have like 500 gov issued plasmas in s7 for that same reason.
