Disconnect problems
I have encountered many different kind of disconnects. There is no changes in my side. Disconnects had started 2 days ago.
Sometimes the connection comes right back before timeout. When in outage, I cant warp or dock. When connection comes back, I'm suddenly 8000m away from where I just was.
There has been also longer disconnectes, so that client timeouts ("logs out").

Have you tried turning it off and on?
@Kierky, I have tried rebooting my computer and router, no help...
One more effect while connection is lost: shooting bots will do no damage.

scham, all of what you're describing is natural. The because of your connection problems the server doesn't know where you are or that you're shooting at bots.
The main thing to consider is that there are multiple routers between you and the VO servers. Just because you can reach some sites without perceivable issue does not mean there aren't problems on the route to another site. The likely problem is a bad router hop. This is beyond your and Guild Software's control.

Ok, thanks everyone. I know that not every "bad connection" issues should be reported.
I wanted to report this, because I haven't had these kind of problems before.
I think nothing is changed on my side and the game play experience has turned very different from what it was about two days ago.
(My ping is usually 160. It's quite high but everything seems to run ok with that.)

Itan K-12 3 mins ago. I was disconnected. I had ping 145 before the disconnect. My other programs (5 ssh connection all around the workd + 2 downloads) kept their connections ok.
Are you running any plugins?

SSH, and most other downloads and programs, use TCP. The game protocol uses UDP. Unfortunately, there have been some cases lately of major UDP denial of service attacks, and internet service providers filtering UDP more heavily.
Of course, they can't do that entirely.. DNS needs UDP (fundamental name resolution, resolving names to IP addresses), and things like Gmail's QUIC protocol is based on UDP, along with many games.. it's a really bad thing to filter heavily, or for any length of time.
But, my point is, it could be routing (a particular "router flap" that you're traversing to get to us), it could be protocol-related filter, it could be a number of things somewhere between you and us. Ping at the time is not really relevant.
In light of the recent issues with some plugin interactions, it is probably worth running without plugins for a little while and see if that helps.
