In the guild editing menu accessed via guide level

A url entered into the guild website box as such:

http://familygalactictravel.com/

Becomes this after the update button is used:

http:%2F%2Ffamilygalactictravel.com%2F

/ is replaced with %2F using Chrome or Edge for all existing and new external guild page urls

Oh wow yeah, all the guild links are dead. Guess I wont be telling people to check the guild pages for "how to join?" questions for a bit.

oh oops, it's encoding all of the /, not just the ones I wanted it to encode.
