I've noticed recently that when I buy a vult with the livery on it and then do something with another ship the livery disappears. It works fine and looks great until I switch ships, then when I come back the vult is just the base color with no awesome stripes. I'm on windows 10, using whatever the default driver is.

So, you buy a vulture with a livery, then switch to another ship immediately, then switch back to the new vulture and the livery is gone?
Or do you do more with the other ship? Do you log out and back in while in the other ship? Or reload the client?
Can you give us a specific set of steps to reproduce the problem, please?

Recently this has been as easy as buying the ship, then going to put weapons on and coming back to the ships tab to find the livery gone. I'm only buying corvults, I don't know if that makes a difference.

aha, so the livery is supposed to add stripes. Not seen them on my ship as yet, Described in the ship description but no change to skin.

Which Vultures are you purchasing? The Corvus Vulture Camo versions don't have their camo skins overridden by the livery.

this seems to have went away for me, the ships I bought with the livery still don't have it but the ones I have bought recently are keeping it, I only really buy corvults

So yeah, this is back. I'm still using the default driver on windows 10, I really only buy corvults. Everything shows up fine in the buy window but the purchased ship has no pretty stripes. I've tried selecting basic and then reselecting the fire wasp one but no bueno. This happens everywhere I've tried it.

It seems that a plugin is overriding ship purchasing, causing it to strip out the livery when the ship is purchased.

ok, I believe its ShipLoadoutsManager that is causing this, I removed it and everything works fine.

Yeah, I took a look at that plugin's source code and it looks like it doesn't properly set the livery selection when purchasing a ship.

I was able to confirm with VikingRanger that he was using SLM v1.0.4. The latest version (v1.0.6) should not have any issues with using livery.

1.0.5 and earlier would have had issues with livery, but 1.0.6 uses the "Purchase Ship" button to buy the BASE SHIP loadout and is basically the same behavior as when the plug-in is not installed.

Anyone using SLM should update to the latest version. The version currently installed is displayed in the upper-right hand corner of the SLM main dialog.
