Did it really get fixed? do people still have a problem with the updater updating itself all the time? I would like to know.

So far every time a new update comes out, my updater updates. It could be every time i open the updater it updates itself. i donno. i'll do more tests, but it seems to be a updating a bit too often...

The updater updated last time because it had to. You're using OS X, correct? The updater updated itself so that it wouldn't unexpectedly quit anymore. That's why.

Yeah. 3.3.6 released the update to the updater so it wouldn't crash on exit, but Ray forgot to disable prebinding so it would update itself every other time you ran it. Then 3.3.7 released the fix for the prebinding issue.
