Launching from a moving Trident is goofballed
It seems like after Vendetta 1.8.342, if you launch from your Trident while it's moving, the undocked Trident is created with a zero speed but the ship you launch in inherits the speed you were moving at. Usually that ends up causing a collision with the back (front?) of the docking bay during the launch animation and getting your ship entangled in the mesh of the Trident because.
For something small it's not that big of a deal, but Behemoths get stuck pretty bad.
Could you guys fix it so that the Trident keeps moving after launch and slows to a stop on its own like it used to? That made more sense.

Yeah, seen this happen too.
I almost exclusively launch from the trident when its moving and I always experience this. Not that big a deal but it would be nice if it didn't happen, and it does cause some pretty ugly aesthetics. Not to mention doesn't make sense.
Thanks. We'll see what we can do.
The persistent capship should now retain the initial velocity and angular velocity and then slow to a stop with its brakes.
Yep, it's working now. Thanks!
